Introduction
Cape Ganjeolgot is the place where the sun rises first in Northeast Asia on the morning of the new millennium and where the annual new year’s sunrise event is held. Thanks to the seasonal flowers, such as rape blossoms and azalea, flowers are planted around Cape Ganjeolgot. The area boasts excellent natural scenery in harmony with the surrounding environment, which makes it a popular attraction for newly married couples. Near Cape Ganjeolgot that is located on the southeastern part of the Korean peninsula, there are thickly wooded pine forests and unique-shaped rocks and stones. There is also Jinha Beach, which attracts the greatest number of people in Ulsan. In addition, it has other tourist attractions, such as Seosaengpo Japanese Fortress, Nasabongsudae and Onggi Village in Onyang. Ganjeolgot Lighthouse has been around since the Japanese colonial era, and it looks awesome as it harmonizes with the park.
